I'm Alison. I was born and raised in California and the Golden State will always feel like home.

Now I live in Utah where I studied at Brigham Young University. I graduated with a B.A. in communications and a minor in editing in June 2014.

I got serious about working with words in 2011 and have since written and edited for newspapers, magazines, digital publications, a startup, and a billion-dollar company. Along the way, I've picked up some design, photography, video, audio, and coding skills.

On the side, I like to read, run, practice yoga, travel, cook, and spend time with the people I love.
